Originally from the Great Lakes State, Kara combines her lifelong passion for skiing with her formidable legal and financial expertise, ensuring that we stay in compliance with regulations and maximize our financial viability.  Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University, Kara is crucial for our real estate development initiatives and resort acquisitions - all with a determination to Give People the Freedom to Ski.  Her passion is fueled by a high school trip to Colorado years ago, when she vowed to one day call the western frontier her home. Now, she proudly lives in Durango, where she enjoys skiing with her husband and three kids, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and volunteering in our local schools.
