Cobalt brings nearly 30 years of accounting and finance experience—and close to two decades in resort and hospitality leadership—to the MCP team. Today, he supports resort owners and leaders with financial strategy, business development, and process improvements that help our teams operate more effectively and reach their goals. Throughout his career, Cobalt has been recognized for programs that enhance the guest experience and elevate resort operations. He helped develop learning, safety, and sustainability initiatives that earned national awards—including the NSAA Conversion Cup, awarded to the best guest learning program in the country. He’s also been part of senior leadership teams that worked hard to earn multiple top-five rankings in SKI Magazine’s annual reader survey, including the 1st and 2nd place rankings for best resorts in the West.  A mountain kid at heart, Cobalt launched his ski career as a part-time instructor and still loves sharing the outdoors with others—especially skiing and snowboarding with his kids, hiking with his dog, and golfing with friends.
